My story begins nearly six months ago. It was then that I stumbled across the answer, the way out of my unhealthy body. Here on the internet amongst the screaming banner ads and vicious pop-up windows there was yet another site claiming to be what many of us seek, a thinner me.
So who am I? I was just a guy who was tired of being overweight and under-motivated. My name is mike and what I am telling you is the secret to a healthy you. A simple instruction manual that flat-out works to reduce your fat, and increase your health.
This is true and it worked for me.
It was the end of summer and I wanted to get rid of my fat by Christmas. I weighted 200lbs. even and at 5’11” I was a pudge boy. When I first purchased and read this book I was a little put off by the over emphasis on the cerebral aspect of weight loss. I skimmed over the first few chapters and got right to the diet plan and workouts. What a BIG mistake.
Several weeks later I was a little lighter, and looked a little better, but my results were discouraging for the effort I FELT I had put in. I was 190.2lbs at Christmas; my hope was to be in the low 180’s. I stopped the program and went about my life as before. By March of this year I was back up to 195.8lbs. and still 5’11”.
I know that does not sound like the answer to weight issues. It is no secret that weight loss programs can be way over promising and way WAY under delivering. But what I did not realize was I messed it up. It was not the program that was faulty but I.
So about a month ago I was cleaning out all the unused files on my computer and I came across this book again. I was trying to click and drag it to the trash when I accidentally opened it. I noticed how many pages was on that file and realized I had not even read the whole thing. Well I paid the 39.95 for the thing I started glancing at the first few pages.
You see the secret to weight loss is in the first few chapters of this book not in the workouts or diet plans. Everyone might know that if you eat less and exercise more you will lose weight. Right? Kind of. This book teaches you how to achieve your thinner you by way of your mind. You see the very important key here is the mental workout you do before you even enter the gym. The very important KEY here is the mental workout you do before you even park the car at the grocery store to buy “diet” food.

The bottom line here is the author Tom Venuto promises and delivers. But you have to read it and start at the beginning. Do not skip the first few chapters!!

It is now May 3, 2006 and I weigh 183.8lbs. I am 12 pounds lighter so far in one month. I am right on track, without killing myself in workouts or without starving myself in any way. In fact I haven’t even counted my calories for weeks now. But I keep losing fat, and I keep feeling better.
