Good grief.  Stress will be the biggest issue now to deal with as I attempt to maintain or lose more weight in the next few weeks.  I have two new roommates and my job prospects are looking somewhat better but I am not working quite yet. The thought is that the state is entitled to the leftover if they are able to red-tape you to death until you give up on actually getting any of the money that is suppoed to be there for your family.  I am not real big on this "government" thing.  &lt;br /&gt;Anyway.  I just got hit up by a home business group wanting me to sell Herbalife products on their mlm platform.  I don't think I would every get involved in that.  They want me to sell the fact that you can get fat loss in a pill.  No you can't.  You can get it by BURNING more calories that you consume.  And thats pretty much it. I have to pay more for gas now?  Hmm if we take that extra few cents we pay and match in the "assasinate the mad midget" fund how long before the pot is high enough before some starving Korean slave finally takes us up on our offer and becomes rich and free.  Speaking of which...how many missiles would it take to end a war against Nutjob Korea....one. I have finally got back to writing on this blog after too many days off.  So I got fired and went on vacation and have been looking for a job for some time. I have to say I have never had such a problem being seen as I did yesterday. And I guess it is all ok because the drivers that were nearly crashing into me you know shook their head and shrugged. Oh, well as long as they shake their head then ok. Plus I got a shrug; imagine a head shake &lt;i&gt;and &lt;/i&gt;a shrug, which makes almost getting crushed worth it. Not like a driver actually yielding, no that would embarrass me and make me feel like I am taking too much advantage of the pedestrian law. You know, even though I am in the crosswalk and waiting for the signal, no don't stop; just gimme that shrug then were good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not all drivers are that bad...I’m told. I just notice the ones that come close to imprinting a decal of my face on their grill. I drive too, and I can see how a cyclist might be a hassle, having to wait that extra five seconds can put my teeth on edge too. Why should &lt;i&gt;I&lt;/i&gt; wait I have the bigger vehicle! That's what bike paths are for! We that and people who walk...together with another person...with headphones on so they can't hear you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway I weighed in at &lt;b&gt;181.4 lbs &lt;/b&gt;and I am on my way! I weighted in at &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;182 lbs. &lt;/span&gt; on the nose and am feel really good.  Today was actually the third time this week I rode my bike to work and my legs a feeling it.  Due to the frequency of the bike rides I have decided not to do any cardio work this week and stick to lifting weights as my only workouts. I am a little concerned about the results as I will be riding my bike into work.  This means I will have nearly three hours of cardio work in before the weigh in and I may even be dehydrated.  I am going to consume at least two additional sandwiches during the day to   help replenish the calories deficit I will be running.  Plus I hope to have at least 32  oz. of water in me befor I even leave work.  It will be about a 15 mile ride each way and I expect to burn about 200-250 calories on each leg.&lt;br /&gt;Furthermore I will be saving gas.  As the weather warms up this might be a consideration for you too.  I would not recommend biking and working out in the same day. I went fast-food four times and only worked out about 80min this week.  I did go to two birthday parties and ate cake and ice cream at both on top of everyting else.  So I am not suprised that I only lost half a pound.  I am back on the routine this week and my goal of two pounds per week is never going to change.&lt;br /&gt;The system has been working so well for me that one bad week does not bother me so much.  Currently I weighed in at &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;183.6 lbs&lt;/span&gt;. Diet wise I completely let my schedule take over and ended up having KFC and tons of crackers and cheese.  Dinner was no better as it was left over chicken strips from the night before.  Altogether it would seem that I may have "blown" my diet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Perhaps something good will come of this.  I know now that my metabolism is cranked to full blast to try and stem the tide of fat and calories I just slammed it with.  It will realize that my body is not starving so it will be less inclined to store fat for the 'lean years'.  Tomorrow it’s back on the steady diet that I have become used to and this will get me back on track.  My personal weight-in is Monday night after my workout and hydration. It was then that I stumbled across the answer, the way out of my unhealthy body.  Here on the internet amongst the screaming banner ads and vicious pop-up windows there was yet another site claiming to be what many of us seek, a thinner me.&lt;br /&gt;So who am I? I was 190.2lbs at Christmas; my hope was to be in the low 180’s. I stopped the program and went about my life as before. It is no secret that weight loss programs can be way over promising and way WAY under delivering.  But what I did not realize was I messed it up.  It was not the program that was faulty but I.&lt;br /&gt;So about a month ago I was cleaning out all the unused files on my computer and I came across this book again.  I was trying to click and drag it to the trash when I accidentally opened it.  I noticed how many pages was on that file and realized I had not even read the whole thing.  Well I paid the 39.95 for the thing I started glancing at the first few pages.&lt;br /&gt;You see the secret to weight loss is in the first few chapters of this book not in the workouts or diet plans.  Everyone might know that if you eat less and exercise more you will lose weight.  Right?  Kind of.  This book teaches you how to achieve your thinner you by way of your mind.  You see the very important key here is the mental workout you do before you even enter the gym.  The very important KEY here is the mental workout you do before you even park the car at the grocery store to buy “diet” food.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The bottom line here is the author Tom Venuto promises and delivers.  But you have to read it and start at the beginning.  Do not skip the first few chapters!!&lt;br /&gt;195.8lbs on March 30, 2006.&lt;br /&gt;It is now May 3, 2006 and I weigh 183.8lbs.  I am 12 pounds lighter so far in one month.  I am right on track, without killing myself in workouts or without starving myself in any way.  In fact I haven’t even counted my calories for weeks now.  But I keep losing fat, and I keep feeling better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here it is.
